Jon, my CCW instructor strongly recommended Break Free as the best thing going. It's an all in one, so I use it for cleaning and then go back after everything comes clean with a light coat and rub down with a clean cloth just the same as I always did with Hoppes gun oil.

Break Free has worked great, and like SC said, mine also get cleaned after every single time I shoot.

New addition to the family

G21 with surefire X200B

Without the light, I can easily conceal it (or my G34 longslide) with just a loose button-down shirt. I'm 5'10" and 175. I use a Galco quick slide holster - that way I only have one holster for either my G30 or 21.

Welcome to the G21 club!

Now pick you up a 10mm conversion barrel from KKM and some G20 mags. The two best rounds in one package.

LOL...yeah it is.

Not bad at all to shoot really, but it does take a little practice. Sure would hate to be on the business end of a 10mm :icon_eek:

Do they have one to convert the 29 to a 30? Might have to pick one up if they do. I'd appreciate a link if you have one.

Same question...can the 20 be converted to a 21?

you can convert a 21 or a 30 to shoot 10mm, but you can't convert a 20 or 29 to shoot .45.

You can get barrels in .40 and .357 though.

The Sig .357 barrel is a drop in on the 20?

How about the .357 magazines, they'll fit?

The 20 and 29 have barrels for 40sw, 357sig, and 19x25 dillon. For all of those, you can just use your existing G20 or G29 magazines. You cant use the 357 specific Glock mags (sorry, i don't kn0w the G model number of the 357sig line) because the G20/21 G30/29 have bigger mag wells then the G17/22 framed Glocks. If you have a 9mm, 40, or 357sig magazine compare it to mags a 45 or 10mm magazine, they are a good deal smaller than the "big boy" caliber mags. 40 and 357sig will feed perfectly from your G20/29 magazines, exact same case diameter.

The only way to make a G20 or G29 shoot 45 is to swap the slide. The frames are identical to their 21 and 30 counterparts.

I would really love to see someone eventually put out a bozz like barrel for the G20. There has been talk about it. If you don't know, it's 10mm necked down to .223. Within about 30yards (much further than most handgun engagement ranges) the .223 has the velocity to fragment. So basically you've got a fucking "short range" AR15. G20 + bozz like barrel = king of all handguns ever, PERIOD.

-edit- wtf? I hit edit and my edit came in as a reply? oh well. glitch in the matrix.
