So know one knows if T1809 will work yet?

I was just looking at it and the harness connection of the radio looks to be the same as the earlier radios. It looks sweet but at about 150-200, ill wait till they go down a little more.

The only reason why I'm hesitate about the t1807 is that a few of my buddies with tc scions says that either CD's gets stuck inside or the volume know doesn't work. And that's 4 tc scion owners that tells me this,.... HAve you guys ran into any situations like that yet since the install?

OK. so I got a t1809, it seems to be really wide compared to the others. I measured it and it is just about 8" long, so it's going to take a lot of trimming. I might not look as clean with the t1809. Height seems to be the same and connectors are the same for the two main plugs. Seems like the bracket may need modifications to make it fit(holes don't line up)

Yeah, you have to cut about half an inch from the metal brackets..

there's where I'm stuck, but I'll probably take them to a muffler shop and speak to them in spanish and get it done for $3 or something...

Finally got around to installing my headunit, had to cut and trim a few things, just as mentioned and here's the end result. I was going to get an auxiliary harness made, but it doesn't seem like it'll happen and the ones on ebay are overpriced, so I'm getting a good buddy of mine to make me one, so ill post up pics of that when it happens..

Could this same write up be used for this Scion TC radio?

I've been looking for one for awhile.

That is a nice looking TC Radio! Would love to see one of those installed in our Supra.
