I posted this earlier, on a similar thread:

Well, you're also hoping for a blown head gasket, rod knock, and maybe even a hole in your piston. How many times do you have to read that a FCD is a time bomb waiting to go off, before you get it? Fuel cut keeps you from doing something dumb, and blowing up your engine. Go ahead, use the damn thing, and while you're at it, remove the brakes too. They just add needless weight, right?

From what I see FCD and SAFC cannot be used together. It doesnt even make sense for them to work together. Both of them work by altering the signal to the MAF or MAP.

But yeah I was kind of wondering about that, because the SAFC and FCD go in about the same spot. But yeah I'd have to say I learned quite a bit just from the arguing going on. lol
