More parts arrived in the mail today, can't wait to put her back together tomorrow and then the final piece would be the CPS connector from Driftmotion :D

Thank you, I haven't given it as much TLC as much as I have with my old red mk3, but she'll get there. After these things are fixed, Im planning on working on the body and paint next then lowering the car.

Great to see a supra owner going to great lengths to deal with all issues before actually modding it.
This is a fantastic approach to building a supra and others (including myself) should give their car the same attention.

In this picture it looks like your flywheel might be cracked.. Am I just seeing things?

And what did you end up doing with the Starion wheels?

The picture shows a small scuff from when the pressure plate accidentally scraped on the flywheel but was repaired during resurfacing of the flywheel. As for the updates today, everythings back up and shes running, stiffer clutch and definitely more response, this spot to be reserved for pictures :D

Hope everyone had a good Christmas, I got a package from Driftmotion the other day and it was my new CPS connector :D I was able to wire that on and definitely the car doesnt have a hard time starting anymore, and a good replacement from the old brittle one. I also got a new CT26 off a low mileage Supra that supposedly doesnt burn oil but we shall see. I have yet to backflush my heater core as it doesnt blow as hot of a heat as it does, heater valve showed fine, the temperatures between the two heater hoses had a significant drop, so if all doesnt work out ill have to do a heater core replacement this winter.

Am I the only one who noticed a MHG go on a block that didnt get resurfaced?? Mightve been better off using the oem gasket in this case.
platinum plugs are no bueno for turbo cars, and ummm 2 BOVs??
nice build otherwise how you like the clutch? That is what I have on mine, W58 version. It doesnt feel heavy enough so I have my doubts, but the stage 2 in my DSM has taken 3 years of abuse and now that im reaching 340 whp its starting to slip :)

^ Thanks, yeah block wasnt resurfaced. Using Titan 1.4mm MLS gasket, holding up pretty good, OEM blow off valve isnt connected to anything right now I havent removed and covered the ports yet, im not running the Bosch platinums anymore but oem DENSO from Toyota, expensive per plug but worth it. As for the clutch it feels stiffer than the OEM i had in it before doing this, and im only using it for street use with moderate HP upgrades so shes fine.

Been a while since I last updated this thread, put in a rebuilt motor with 3" piping all the way turbo-back with a custom elbow so the opening isnt as restricted as the stock one. Upgraded to the suprasport SS braided turbo lines as well as OEM toyota head gasket on this one with ARP head studs, runs absolutely perfect. Then other goodies came in the mail, next project is to work on getting polyurethane rack & pinion bushings, inner and outer tie rods and bellows, upper/lower ball joints and perhaps new brake pads and rotors all around. Ill update the thread throughout the progress.

Photos as of recently, car was involved in a hit and run prior to this, but has now been repaired by a professional body shop that had to pull out the front frame and rear quarter panel, then small details and paint were done by me. Mind you not guys it's not the most perfect paint gun, but at least I'm not using Harbor Freight guns :) happy thanksgiving weekend, cheers!
