Second that on the hex bolts :) best Idea yet! I even put a small bead of silicone on the bottom of the gasket and tightened it down, not a single leak now

Just be careful, I have seen people crack on them and break off the ear.

What works best is to actually pull them hand tight, say about 15ft/lbs, and then after you have then heat cycled a few times, then go back and tighten them down some more.

I tighten those things down pretty tight and thought it was good and I checked then after about 200 miles, the darn thing was loose, not bad enough to leak though.

Enough of the flamewar bullshit people, I just deleted 40+ posts worth of that garbage... - I'm going to start handing out bans next...

Edit: To the community in general: Sorry it took so long for the staff to get a handle on this, we don't usually police the build threads very much as they don't tend to get this bad. Thank you to the people who reported this mess to us.

To the participants: This sort of bullshit may fly on other sites, but it doesn't here. You have a right to your opinion, and you are more than welcome to state it. However, when your opinion turns into insults and hostility, you're over the line. You know the difference, so don't play stupid, I'm not buying it.

This is the last and final warning on this...

Hey OP, GREAT build. I'm not a fan of the color but to each his own.

Out of curiosity what are you doing to help the car perform as a drift car besides building the engine? Have you taken the car to any track days yet? If you have any setup questions I'd be happy to help.

I went with the lime green because kawasaki green is my favorite color.. I 8k toolbox is same color.. pretty much anything that has that color as an option i go with it.. Next it will be a lime green metallic kinda like forrest wangs 240's.. but a little brighter and with holographic metal flake... and yeah im the only one that matters if i like the paint or not..
