IPP Performance parts, you're going to have to spend a lot to get any real benefits, and would be as well off changing over to turbo.

there really isnt anything for the 7mge, its really about hard work stuff like porting and polishing the head getting an exhaust header boring out the engine, and getting a computer piggyback so you can delete the accused MAF sensor, replacing your 2 piece drive line to a 1 piece aluminum, getting a FULL 2.5 inch exhaust.. and even after all of this your only gonna make maybe 205 to the wheels.

just convert the 7m-ge to the NA-t and itll be alot cheaper and much more worth it.

There's a lot you can do/get for a GE, but you're going to be lucky if you do most of it and get 205 at the wheels.

To do what you suggested you'd be lucky to have 170-180.

Yea just buy a used turbo manifold and CT26 for cheap from a gte along with a intercooler and down pipe run some oil lines and run about 8psi-10psi and make 250-280whp

Make sure your Motor is in Good shape.

An old used and abused one yes that's about right.

I dynoed 215 a couple years ago, figure I'm around 250 +/- now.

aj are you the one with the awesome custom dual throttle body setup?

150 whp is a bit low, try more around 170 whp, get rid of that crappy 2 piece driveline and youll be at roughly 175,, i cant be spitting out numbers like this because every engine is different....

yes these cars had 205 to the crank stock its the cressida that has 190

It's definitely 200bhp and if you figure in the beating and wear in tear most of these cars take 150whp is not all that uncommon unfortunately.

Headers and exhaust make a good difference, a shift kit if auto also helps a bit. Also ensure the engine is in tune and everything works.
The GE is far more friendly in the day to day real world, much more off the line performance and no annoying lag when trying to keep up with traffic. The GE is still an impressive engine, 200 hp out of a 3 litre six is still significant and the broad, flat torque curve also helps make them an excellent engine to live with day to day.
If you had ready access to E85, a 13 to 1 compression build would yield a nice engine.
