Loud, clear and some what different. Tweeter on the bottom pod and got a RHD pod for the pass side.

Interesting...

Someone at one time made pods that went where the black triangle that covered up the mirror bolts went. This looks like a better solution.

Great placement but tweeters are really supposed to be facing toward the opposite side. Ie. pass side tweeter pointed toward the driver.

There is no "Supposed" way to point tweeters. There is only someones recommended way. I have been installing professionally for 15 yrs and have installed tweets in every direction from right beside the customers head on the B pillar to pointing straight at the windshield on the A Pillar, you would be surprised where some people want them placed. It also does depend on the vehicle for best sound. I can say that the placement I have is prety loud and actually balanced.

I just thought I would try something that I havent seen before and I like how well they sound.

As I wanted to hunt it down, I found the part numbers for those...

67491-20330 Right side
67492-20330 Left side

About $30 for each side...

thats a great idea! i never thought of that even though i was tryin to find a way to mount a tweeter in that A-pillar...i have custom 6.5inch speaker pods on the bottom of my door panels and then just mounted the tweeters where the stock 5 and a quarters would go

how did you attatch yours..?

I finally got mine yesterday and they have small tabs on the bottom, but they don't clip on, did you do something custom..?
