Motor swap question!

Hi guys, i know i had asked this question before. But there are no clear answers that came up for me.

My only question is that when i do my swap does it matter wich tranny and which harness goes together. Can a 5 speed harness work with an automatic??????? From this link http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?t=34560 and if the informations posted are right then i should have no problem doing the swap.

^^^ This is pulled from that same page i had posted. If that is right then i can use my NA auto tran with my turbo 5 speed harness right?? no problem or do i have to find an auto turbo harness??? I had searched and also find information such that i cant do that, i will have to buy the auto turbo harness to use with my auto tran. Also, ECU's??? Does it matter, from what i read i can use a 5 spd ECU with a auto harness.....it is getting confusing

The automatic car needs a TPS signal. They are not the same. Unless the 5 speed harness has plugs, which is very possible.

Are you swapping a 5 speed for the A340E?

No, my car is originally an auto. the harness from the motor that i had acquired which came from a 5speed supra
