i would like to make the supra community, or more specifically the mk3 supra community aware that we are considering beginning production on several new and difficult to obtain cf parts for the 86.5-92 MA-70 code supras. this is not a solicitation for purchase of any items, as several of these parts must be engineered and tested.

this IS a solicitation for mk3 owners and more importantly mk3 supra owners who are looking to purchase carbon fiber parts, to give some feed back as to what parts will have the largest demand.

please use this format when suggesting parts to be manufactured.

year ie- 86.5-88,or 88-93

item suggested ie- driver and passenger doors
ie-driver or passenger interior door panels
ie- front bumper,
ie- dash panel
ie- ect ect ect.

carbon material ie- twill, or plain weave

thank you all for your time,

assuming there is a good turn out for a specific group of parts pricing and turn around time will be implemented.

I'd be in for a small duck tail wing. Something subtle that suits the bodylines and directly replaces the 86.5-88 wing.

are you suggesting a direct replacement for the 86.5-88 rear spoiler with exact OEM specs? in other words a genuine carbon fiber 86.5-88 supra spoiler?

same here i would be in for that and the front window cowl would be cool too

2 interested in carbon fiber doors,

with oem replicated interior door skin support, compatible with oem interior parts, and window components.

Id be in for some interior pieces and nice for a turbo A duct

what interior pieces specifically? please use the format above.

on the turbo a duct, do you mean a genuine OEM spec a duct, or an A-duct replication with possibly larger inlet diameters, and or mounting points?

Carbon fiber front nose piece would be great, perhaps even a Regulus piece. I've seen a carbon fiber targa top somewhere before, but I doubt theyre easy to get. The two spoilers I've always thought would look great if adapted to a Supra are the E36 M3 and 2010+ Mustang pedestal spoilers, but I cant imagine it would be very popular without a nice clean demo car for it to go on. Valve covers would be cool, but the baffling would be obnoxious, and I'd want AN -10 fittings as well. The body trim would be pretty cool to have for sure. Also the exterior door handle surround, as those seem to get brittle and break over time, even though theyre metal.

Here is what I would like to see in twill:

Pre-89/ post 89 window switch plates/ bezels
Pre-89/ post 89 (for those with cruise control on the column) Steering console (the plastic panels that wrap around the key and the column "under" the wheel) with one or two gauge pods
Doors that will utilize all factory components
- Door handles to go with the doors (there may be to much engineering involved to make them last though)
Pre-89 body trim all around w/ the center piece for the rear
All year B-pillar trim (targa and no targa) It would be great it it had studs just like the factory piece

I don't think he means that.
A duck tail wing or spoiler would be something that mounts flush to the rear deck. And I infer from Absolutespeed that he would simply want it to have mounting points identical to the oem spoiler's, so that you could just bolt it on, and not have to worry about filling holes or leaking hatches.

Maybe something like this?

PS- I like this idea as well.

Also, I would like to see an 89+ front lip out of CF that would have an aggresive front rake, but be no lower that the stock unit.
That way it would not require side and rear skirts in order to fit the body lines. All of the aftermarket items look kinda dumb to me without the other matching pieces, because they hang so much lower that the oem bodylines.

Like this, and maybe even a bit less drop, dare I say.
