so i thought i would update my thread even though the car hasn't been touched in like 8 months... ): its still sitting in south florida in my parents garage. i did finally get a house with a very nice sized shop but;t have not had the time or money to get the sup up here.

but anyways, the plans have changed completely! even though ive been away from my car for the better part of a year ive still been thinking about her constantly! the change of plans,
-part out all 2jz related parts i have (almost a complete 2jz swop)
-locate a 1uz.
-adapt it to the r154
-front mounted single 60-1(because i already have one)
-full custom fuel system, fuel cell, a1000, etc
-not sure on the injectors... anyone help me out with that? can i use the 550's i have for my 2j and just buy 2 more?
-msd ignition
-custom exhaust
-no more a/c
etc...

so hopefully in the next few weeks i will get my car up here and get to work!

1uz's are cool...but in all reality you know what car will be faster....and you've already got everything, and such a nice setup damnit!! Either way, good luck with your decision.

ehh i think i will stick with the 2j. it would be sooo much more work to start on a new motor platform, and the 2j is soooo much easer to get parts for!

Agreed, Good work on the fabricating man...

I love what your doing, keep up the work.

i decided i wanted my radiator to sit where the a/c condinser used to be so i cut out the lower crossmember to clear the rad. i will fab up a new one out of 1 1/2" tubeing and fit the rad in there nice and clean. this will give me tons more room in front of the motor for a little suprise i got planned :evil2:

and yes i did buy another money pit recently. thats my red mk2 to the left of my mk3

the motor is still all pulled apart just as i left it a year ago..

Thanks man, yea I freggin love my new place. The garage sold it for me lol. I got a paint booth in there too (; its sooo nice working in a big shop. I'm used to a 2 car garage full crap with just enough room for my car and tools!
