It depends on. Some people can use those adapters, some can't. My 87 is some obscure plug that no one has seen before... Also, functioning stock radio? That's rare, everyone I've seen was blown in some way. My stock one wouldn't play to the left channel I believe it was.

Well.. it's an original JDM Toyota radio/tape/CD correct for the period.... I'm not certain it was originally from a Supra. But it does work, listened to a few CD's while taking the car apart :)

Dan I'm pretty sure the small plug is the rear glass antenna.

Making progress on the car one step at a time. Thanks to Hybrid, got some good used wheels.

My accelerator pedal had a lot of sideways play, so I pressed a brass bush into the bracket which made an improvement.

Got a power steering pump and rack rebuilt locally.

Thanks guys. I cleaned the tank inside and out, and external coated with a local system reportedly similar to POR15.

Sorry but I don't like the 'Rodney Jane Racing' wheels currently on my car anymore than you do.

You wouldn't run the AME's on the red car anyway :)

So ever since I have had the car, it has had an oddly fitting RHS front quarter panel.

Initially I figured it was a pre and post 89 thing, but nope.. all guards same. After a bit of head scratching, I figured out that it was s replacement guard that had come from a car with this panel modified to suit a bodykit or... something.

When I stripped the filler away, someone had attacked the panel with an angle grinder. So I bought another one - and it fits. Nothing bolted up in the photos, but nosecone matches up perfectly.

Building pace on the car, so parts are starting to roll in. It is a real goal to keep the car reliable, so don't want any ignition gremlins.

Updates as parts arrive. Ordered ignition and fuel at the same time, and the fuel stuff was delivered today.

Fuel Pump. Wait.. is that a...

yes... from a 2JZ-GTE. I wasn't sure how it would go on the hanger, but is a direct fit with part numbers for JZA70 rubber base, filter/strainer and in-tank hose section :)

New engine mounts arrived as well. I assume mine have completely failed as the block is sitting at a 15 degree angle.
