Good buy. In a year or so I plan to upgrade to a 50D. The better my camera gets...the more I expect from it. It's a vicious cycle.

Nice! I am now looking to my old Nikon D70 to the D700. Why you ask? I saw it in action in a no flash situation.... WOW! Unbelievable! Yeah I know its super expensive.... but I said I was just looking.... Have fun with the D90! It is loaded with great features....

Looked at a D70 when they were released but it's far too much camera for me I have NFI what I'm doing so chose an 8800 instead.

I have the D90 and love it. Make sure you invest in good glass too... it will make your photos.

lucky! i'm lookin at a rebel xsi for a starter dslr. especially since canon's just announced they'll release a newer model in the very near future (500d)

ill bet you could make some awesome hdr images with this.. all that pixel data. my rebel xt get really grainy most times when the dark/light contrast in the image is too high.

I am still learning to use this thing. I am borrowing some lenses tomorrow so I should have some better pics soon. I need to look in to getting a speed light too.

The lens I have is Nikon 55-200mm f/4-5.6G IF-ED AF-S DX VR Zoom. Not sure the range of exposure. I still need to learn how to read specs and such.

The D90 and the lens you have are good stuff. You should be taking some good pics in no time. That or a 50mm will be my next lens. I haven't decided yet.
