My welding instructor in college has a 89 5spd NA Supra and I have a 88 Auto NA Supra.

The funny thing is that the instructor didn't really like me until I bought the Supra hahahaha.

Let's see... I have a 91 Turbo Targa 5spd, my roommate has a 90T hard-top and an 89 1.5JZ with an IHI RHC-7 single turbo, my coworker has an 87 N/A w/ a HKS MHG 7M-GTE (came out of my 91, I did the headgasket and swap), I sold my 88 N/A to a friend who is now putting a 2JZ-GE-T into that, and there are roughly 5 other supra guys in town that I talk to, one worth mentioning has a black 87T hard-top with a built 7M.

I win? lol

No the hood isnt black or carbon fiber..yet. Not sure if he's still doing that. I do like the two tone as well :love:

Damn, must be sweet to have friends with the same interest (MKIII Supra). My damn friends drive a prelude, impreza. I don't have a Supra yet but my bro in law has a blk 89 turbo auto HT and a friend that has a red 88(I think) turbo 5spd HT, rarely talk to the guy. Can't wait til I get one.

But yeah.......For you guys with Supra friends, what kind of comments do you guys get from others when you're out driving and stuff????Just wondering..

In southern california, Supras don't really draw too much attention lol...i guess maybe from the cops...LOL.

glad to say, at our more recent get together, there were twice as many MKIIIs as MKIVs there
