They're progressively wound instead of straight wound which makes them change characteristics when pushed hard, somewhere between mushy and somewhat firm. I've had them and felt it made the car feel somewhat unpredictable and real "twitchy" entering and exiting the corner.
Also, they don't provide enough drop to suit me.

Tokico Illumina's blow about as often as a $2 whore in Crackton.
The only really good thing about them is they're tems compatible and they're alot cheaper than Tein's.
