I hope you don't write arguement or persuasion papers like that for school like that. Logical fallacies render your arguement 100% invalid. You might as well tell me what color the panties and bra you're wearing right now are.

That might even be more relevant since you'd have to be a little crazy to attempt an rb supra swap.

plus it doesnt help when your on not much of a budget anyway im guessing that it would take a year and a half to complete and about 25 large and you doing most of the work like fabing up alot of the brackets, mounts, and anything else needed to do the swap

but hey if you can then do it

I'm contemplating putting a Mazda MX6 GT 2.2 turbo motor in an 89 escort hatchback. Why? because I can't get a title for the MX6 and I think it would be fun to spank the local rice racers with a POS rusty escort.

To each his own, but I doubt many on this forum will applaude the RBMK3.

Hmmm...SR20DET into AE86 is a rather common swap. As is 1JZGTE into 240SX...seems like Nissan and Toyota enthusiasts both have a bit of gender confusion...However 1.3 liter Rotary into MkIII...can't really go smaller and have any kind of usable power in our big ass tanks.

You have a 2.5TT that "easily" goes in and it's the one people usually swap into this car.
Then you have a 3.0TT [2JZ] which is extremely popular with the aftermarket for serious, readily available power upgrades
These two engines are both Toyota motors and are as bolt-in as an engine swap is going to get. These engines are also highly reputed, take a beating and put down the power.

Why do you want a 2.6TT from Nissan, ASIDE from it being different?
Really, the only car I'd consider putting that engine in is a 240SX, and even then I'd be more likely to put a RB25 in that car.

If you do this swap, I can say a few things:
It's a dumb idea, crossing Nissan to Toyota when two arguably better engines that are easier swaps are available from Toyota - from the same car family!
It is going to cost you more than it is worth.
It is going to be a pain in the ass for you or the shop that performs the swap [this also equals more labor/time = more $$$]

people that do the v-8 swaps use chevys, why not just use a lexus v-8 :dunno:

top secret put a rb in a mkIV:dunno:

r-32's have been 7m powered :dunno:

Do u see where im going with this

One last thing ive seen the 1j/2j swap in newer bmw's on sf, why not just boost the inline 6 that it comes with :dunno:
it's all about compatability... 7m's are cheap to buy, easy to work on, and literally bolt right in.... the rb26 is the opposite of all of these... that's all there is to it...

people do use lexus v8's btw
