can NA fuel pump slow turbo engine down?

i did a na-t swap and it's running a little slow. i was wondering if my na fuel pump doesn't have enough fuel for my engine.

considering to run a vehicle you have to get the correct ratio of air/fuel, for a turbo you need a lot more fuel flow to match the increase in air flow. I'm not sure if the NA uses a different pump than the turbo though.

on a stock turbo motor you won't notice. on a built turbo motor you'll have melted pistons, and you'll definately notice!

moral? get a new pump!

dunno if it's the same in the states but here i have confirmed that na and turbo fuel pumps have the same part number

the pumps are the same.

replace it anyway. our fuel pumps are up to 20 years old now. walbro fuel pumps are cheap.
