hate to say this but mechanic tomorrow. i dont have time to look at it.. i need it by tomorrow night i have an important meet.. throwing down cash on a prelude and i need it to be in good running order.. so there that goes =//

It does if you do it right. Get a Toyota overhaul kit, it will come with all the rubber boots (including the slider boots). Most of the time when they seize up it is because the rubber boot has broken and the lubrication inside is all gunked up.

Remove old slider pins, clean, check for wear, clean, relubricate, replace all seals. Good to go. :)

the shafts wear and you get movement that causes uneven pad wear... not to mention if they seize bad and are rusted...

a fully remanned caliper assembly has them replaced...
