You think you can make another set...lol

and here's a pic of a mk4 rotor to kind of show the difference

Can we machine about 2.5mm the inner hat of the mk4 rotor?
Or is it to much? :sarcasm:
If yes, then we have the 5mm (diameter) space that we are looking for! :sarcasm:
You see...I bought them new and I hate the thought that I can't use them

Tsuper92, it shouldn't be a problem to make the shim, the price is something am not sure about. Once i find out i'll shoot you a pm and just get 2 sets, if you wanna get a set for yourself. Uhmm any chance i can borrow that jakespeed kit- i'll hit you up with a pm.

Talked to a few people about going that route, not sure on an OEM rotor, maybe IJ or the others know. But on that Napa Brand rotor(mk4 TT) it will take out structure/strength of the rotor-not the safest route to go

SC: NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and if that wasn't clear NO!

Do NOT machine the rotor, sell them and buy the 350z Track Rotors they're the same dimensions as the Mk4's just with a bigger ID in the Hats (I have a set of DBA 4000's here waiting for me to make the brackets for a bud's Mk3 along with the Mk4 callipers)

SC: I'm just not sure when I'll get around to it sorry.

I have at least 1 month of work before I can even look at them, this isn't a problem for my Bud as he's swamped with unfinished projects and his Mk3 can wait.

So if someone wanted to piece a kit together what else would they need besides:
Skyline or z32/300zx calipers
350z track rotors
the nightpager adapters

as well as any suggestions/info...
Nissan stainless or regular brake lines?
centering rings?
proportioning valve or brake booster? or not an issue?

I was always curious if the mustang Cobra/Mach1/Bullit calipers could be used with an adapter and appropriate rotors but the nightpager seems to be a proven.

take a month or so.
I want to install the new brakes before 'April....:sarcasm:
