I originally had a 72mm ITS turbo on my 1JZ, and it was pretty lazy, I was seeing 18psi around 5300 rpms. Upping the Displacement from 2.5L to 3L would have decreased the spool time dramatically. But then I kinda started going overboard on the car

hey man, I sent you a PM, I'm thinking about putting a 1jz-gte intake manifold on my 2jz-gte head. How close are the bolts? Where is the notching needed, and will the upper fit with no issues on the lower with the notching done?

Fucking AWESOME build, man. Really inspirational. Keep going!

Thanks,
-Freddy

did a little bit of work today, but it was so damn humid i couldnt stay outside for very long before being flat worn out

started clearing the engine bay, friend is bringing over his welder saturday, gonna fill the unused holes, and paint the engine bay while ive got the motor out. chose a new color for the car but im keeping it to myself, as the last time i mentioned the color (mine was the only one at the time) about a month after someone else had painted theirs the same color

Lexus code 1C6 - Graphite Gray Pearl

My friend Andrew (the bastard that got me into the money pit I call Supras) had his car painted with that color back in 2004, but the car's been down for race car treatment since 2005...

even better reason to change it, waiting for a call back on the paint code from the dealer now. not even sure if theyll give it out

update tho, motor is mounted, opened up the shifter hole, and it actually doesnt sit too far back, the center console still clears it (btw, was checking to see if the intake pipe would fit)

once i figure out my trans mount, the motor will come back out so i can finish the engine bay and get it ready for paint

That shifter is weird....did you want something with that kind of lean to it?
