started pulling everything off the car today, trans is ready to come off, just didnt have time today to pull it off.

started working on the pump hanger to run the lines. need one more bulkhead fitting tho.

put some VHT high temp paint on the exhaust, make it look a lil better than it did on the car
p1505916_2.jpg

also, couldnt find a pilot bearing with the two sizes, ID for a T56, OD for a JZ crank. ended up with a brass bushing for the LT1, going to take it to my machine shop and have it turned down to match the JZ's crank.
p1505916_3.jpg

also picked up a energy suspension poly mount for the trans

heres a comparison of the driveshafts, hoping it comes out without too much work, T56 looks a little longer, so hopefully it comes out.
p1505916_5.jpg

heading over to my friends house to pick up the centerforce clutch. thats it for today tho

after just kind of holding the T56 up in location, shifter wise, it looks like ill need to notch the back of the shifter hole 3/4"-1" to fit the hurst shifter.

fuel pump hanger is done, just need to redo the power/ground connections and its good to go.
p1508384_3.jpg

also took out all of the HVAC system, not gonna need it by the time the cars running.

Why such a big turbo if you just want to drive it around? Are you looking for more than 500whp?

when i said drive it around, i meant just to get it on the road, its been off the road now since last august. in no way is the car a daily driver, ive got a grand am for that

The car is setup for E85, and so is the tune.

in a couple months, the Trans will be getting built up to Viper specs, and a twin disk will be going in.

then the boost will be going up to 28-30psi

From reading your posts I deduced that much. It wouldn't make much sense to DD it. You still didn't answer my question. Not that you have to answer, just curious why you would want such a big turbo for a car you're building to drive around. Your car wont be much fun except for doing highway pulls...

thats where it will be driven around.

two reasons, number one is i had the same gearing in my firehawk, T56 + 3.73's is a shit ton of fun on the highway

two, the local mkivs are all big turbo cars, 74's, 76's, 80's, some billet turbo's, gotta keep up with em
