HI guys, Thanks for the kind words, The turbo is a PTE GT4276, I should be able to spool it around 5k but don't quote me till I get it tuned, The head is built, HKS 272s, Ferrea complete valvetrain (can rev to 10k if I wanted to lol) A lil porting, I do have the supporting mods for the turbo, For now I am gonna tune it for pump gas around 18-20 psi, Then C16 to see what it does, Next year the plan is to move to E-85 & PRO-EFI, SO keep your eyes open for my AEM for sale lol....

The head is built for that rpm but the short block wont last too long at 10k. But i believe i should have more than enough power under 8.5k

I worked my ass off, save save, people have told me I should have bought a MKIV but i love my MKIII. With the money I have dumped in the past I could have bought a nice Mkiv.

Nice build. Or you could have just gone full 2J. With that big turbo and v160 would have been perfect match IMO. g/l with it.

Heh, my current goal is to save 8k by the end of May for a parts shopping spree to actually finish this car up... head is built to be a mid range monster, I'm rather curious to see how your car runs with this setup. Hopefully you'll be done by the time I sink some cash into a turbo. :)

^^^That will hold alot of power, talking to SP they believe that the 1Jz rods can hold more power than the 2jz rods, pistons are made if the same material if i remember correctly, you will be fine, after i reach my goal of 700-800hp at SP mustang dyno i will start saving for a better long block, I wanna try a new head that a friend is gonna work on, My friend Chris from head dynamics can make a head flow... he looked at my head once & was amazed on the stock ports, he said he has done a few 2jz heads& believes the 1jz can definitely flow alot more than a 2jz with the same headwork. We will see in the future.
