By track legal I mean drag racing and such. I occassionally like to drag race my Supra at PIR and I have to conform to NHRA safety rules. So my setup requires a metal box and a kill switch (still need to run a cable to the alternator).

According to the 2008 NHRA Rulebook "Rear firewall of .024 inch steel, .032 inch aluminum, or NHRA-accepted poly box."
