hey i was just wondering has anyone ever swapped or even considered swapping in a 7m into an mk4? lol probably stupid question but i was curious lol since everyones swapping newer engines into older cars.. how about the other way around?

i think it would be an interesting swap, and if the shell had no motor to start with then it would be a very fun swap with a gte, or maybe a 1uz or newer version of the v8 whatever they are called
Nobody has done it so far as I know. Would be nice to have a crazy 7M stuffed into a MKIV and take it to one of the national meets.

with the arz valve covers I think a 7m in a mk4 could do some good....but it would have to be a 7m on upgradedsupras level!
How about the 5.7 out of the new tundra mated to a getrag trans. Would def consider trying to do this, when the engines become more readily available and my wallet is a lot thicker.
I've seen plenty 1jz's in MK4's, I've always wondered if they put them in the 93 year in Japan. Anyone know if this is true?

Also best believe you might still have friends on the Mania but those MK4 guys on Supraforums are a little bit more hard core... so expect to get :ban: banned just because LOL!

I was thinking of dropping my built 7M (Avatar pic) into a MKIV shell since my MKIII was beat to all hell. I couldn't find any decent MKIV's locally that weren't crazy $$$ so I ended up just putting my time and effort into the MKIII I had.
I bet I could have given most 2J MKIV's a run for their money tho
