lil update..
Today i went ahead and flushed the diff and the tranny.
For the Diff i used 2 quarts of motorcraft 80w-90 and the lsd additive with oem washers.

p1837284_1.jpg

Had to get a 6 point 15/16(24mm) socket for the fill and drain plugs
p1837284_2.jpg

Yuk
p1837284_3.jpg

The magnetic drain plug was all covered in some type of gunk with metal shavings.
p1837284_4.jpg

Cleaned

p1837284_7.jpg

p1837284_8.jpg

Adding the additive 1/4 of an oz at a time
p1837284_9.jpg

Both bolts torqued to 30ft lbs
p1837284_10.jpg

Now for the W58 tranny i used Redline MT-90 that i got at Titan motorsports which is 10 min from where i live. Also Oem washers.
p1837284_11.jpg

I barely managed to take off the fill plug from the tranny as the PO stripped it.
p1837284_12.jpg

I left the tranny draining while i went to Toyota to get a new fill plug.

p1837284_14.jpg

p1837284_15.jpg

Got this oil pump at the autoparts store which made the job much easier:
p1837284_16.jpg

got the fresh fluid in then torqued both plugs to 30ft lbs :icon_bigg
p1837284_17.jpg

The tranny feels much smother now then before. Goes into gear with barely any force or hesitation. The Diff doesn't shatter no more which is also great. All i need now is some marling crawler shifter bushing to remove all the play i have while in gear.

Today i got to do my marlin crawler bushings which i had for over 2 months.

Old rubber seat removed:

p1838630_4.jpg

MC seat installed:
p1838630_5.jpg

Nylon MC bushing also installed:

p1838630_7.jpg

p1838630_8.jpg

Everything put back together.
p1838630_9.jpg

The difference is incredible. Gears go in more precise, barely no play when is in gear and much stiffer. 10X better than before and the best 20 buks ever spent(no lie). I did a DIY on the installation of the bushings, here's the link:
http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?159241-D.I.Y-Marlin-Crawler-bushing-install

Also received a minty glove box that i purchased from cripplegto.

Old 1 was held on by screws and was missing the handles
p1838630_10.jpg

Installed the new to me glove box and looks amazing. Thanks cripplegto!

quick question, before you did the tail light gaskets did a little bit of water get into the rear boot area?
if so did the new gaskets prevent the water getting in once replaced? To get mine they are $80 NZD each.. bit pricey but if they work it will be worth it in the long run.
Thanks

Before i did the tail light gasket i used to get water in my spare tire area and in both left and right access panel above the wheel well. When i replaced it i haven't seen no water in those area and also i keep a paper towel in each side to verify there's no water getting in. Thats expensive for just 1 side.

Great so it sounds like the issue is in fact the rear tail gaskets. I know it's super expensive, I have not come across any on ebay.com.. seems like I can only get them straight from Toyota.

This was my first e-brake job, it was fairly easy if you have the right tools and follow the tsrm.

These wipers work with the standard two screw mounting point? went to get some yesterday and they said they don't have any for my car, clearly are compatible with the supra, only in NZ....
