Well I have been doing allot of reading though out the years on this subject , and now doing head's for other people here is one I am doing right now

here is what a stock head looks like this is good on to some of them have some nasty casting bulbs in them

detail's thus far

de-shouded valve seat's then slight plunge cut

this is mild light porting/blending and clean up it's not fully done since there is some parts to work on mainly the part a round the valve seat need to be taken down and then gasket match it

later on I will show my cylinder head I am building for my self and is consider to be a wild head that will need custom piston made for it

if any of you guys wana do this at home and no worrie about mess it up. Just take down the area around the vavle guide and open the up the grove abit and then cone the vavle guide, mix this with slight deshording of the valves and you be shocked on the out come for doing so very littel

oh ya the head not fully finished just need ot take the sharp corners off in the combustion chambers

Looks nice....I'm interested to see the results. Do you have flow numbers on the head before your work or what a typical stock head flows?

for the next wild head the hole valve guide casting seat is being hogged right out and then the valve guide being cut down to about the high of the stock floor is

and I still working on my combustion chambers but I have to cc them before I go further and allso take mold of the chamber and send it off to je pisonts

but i need ot talk to je about the combustion sides (much like 2jz head) but if I take to much away not sure if they can make piston with out it popping out of my block and messing qench and stuff
