Well I have an appointment scheduled this Thursday to get my car tuned on the dyno. The goal is 600whp. I wanted to see what psi you guys think it will take to acheive 600 whp with the stock head or do you think that it will choke out before it gets there. Here are some of my mods

7mgte .20 over weisco
Billet 6265 qsv .84ar
Aem ems
e85
2 walbro fp and steel braided fuel lines
1000cc Injectors
Dh61 ignitor
Is300 coils
Sequential injection
Stock head (comp valve springs)
Built r154
Etc...

Im nervous that the head will choke out the Turbo before it gets there. I think around 23-25 psi the turbo will start producing less and less power per psi because of the head. We will see.

Maybe with the added timing the e85 can handle, you can do it @ 20psi. I'm not sure about the flowing capabilities of the 7m's head and intake. My 1.5jz made 635@ 23psi. That puts it about 600 @ 20psi or there abouts. I run 93 octane with meth injection. I also have upgraded cams so it may end up taking 23 to 25psi. Make sure and get a good video of it and good luck.

You said 2 walbros, I'm assuming they're 255 since they're common. Would 2 255's be able to flow enough e85 to feed the 1000cc injectors for 600 rwhp? The reason I ask is because I'm not too familiar with e85.

2 255 Walbro's is enough for the 600hp mark. I have 272 cams but stock head and everything else is comperable. I made 618hp @ 24 psi on E55 (dynoed around new years), will be dynoing later this year on E85 and around 30-35 PSI.

I don't think you have to worry about the stock head chocking it too much. A good turbo with a big A/R (like you have) can make up for a stock head with stock cams. Not to mention all the boost and timing you can run with E85. I say 600rwhp by 24psi.

Sorry for the delay guys. I have been scratching my head and pulling well I don't have hair. The car made 384whp 384tq at 20PSI. We stopped there cause something was not right. It should have been at 520whp by then. What do you guys think is the problem. I'm thinking the qsv might have been sticking. Feel free to ask me question about my setup cause I'm a little lost at this point.

The problem is I can't really diagnosis the issue until my mechanic gets back from Flrida next Wednesday. We've talked on the phone about what it could be and qsv is the topic of discussion. He said that he checked to make sure that it was fully opening before installation but I'm not sure if he checked the clearance while mounted on the Turbo and while mounted to just the exhaust manifold.
