    For a reason I am unsure of, my car has very low oil pressure once the engine is warm. After a cold start the pressure is normal, but once it warms up, it drops down to the lowest notch on the oil pressure gauge and just rises a little bit once I reach the 3k rpm mark. What would be causing...

    What exactly do you mean by retarding the timing? I am getting a code 52 because the little cord was pulled out of the knock sensor plug. The engine is running a little rough, is it partly due to the knock sensor?

    While having my car on and it idling, I noticed a hissing that sounds like it is coming from the rear of the engine. I don't think it is normal, maybe a possible heater hose leak?

    Tried jumping it. It wanted to start but wouldn't. Any chance a little oil getting in the wrong place would effect the starting?

    ***UPDATE*** After taking off the cam gears and rear timing cover, there weren't any oil seals. Which was the reason for all the oil leaking. Its fixed and there isn't any oil leaking. However, after letting it run for a little bit and then turned it off, I then tried to turn it over again...

    [/I] I may just head up to napa again then! And yes I did put a dab of rtv on the cam covers, it looks like it is behind the cam gears where the oil is leaking from.

    ***UPDATE*** Looks like oil is also leaking from around the cam gears. How can this be fixed without pulling the whole engine apart?

    Wow, thats retarded. I really don't want to take it off for the fourth time. So like you said, just let it warm up then torque it back down? Or would it eventually level out over time?

    While the car idles, oil is coming from the front, by the cam gears, where the head meets the block. Of course the higher the rev, the more the oil comes out. It just seems a bit odd considering a new head gasket and plenty of rtv on those two notorious spots. The head was just rebuilt with new...

    Yes, after taking it apart again the hg had a few little issues, like a little bit of the hg was ripped off so I bought a new to replace. So a new hg was used the second time.
