I looked under the hood on them, The turbos are wedged under the firewall almost above the tranny. Never Ever get to them without removing the whole motor.

May i suggest the Sig Sauer P220. I saw one for a good price new. like 900 brand new. but that is in CT. Virginia should be cheaper i bet. If you want a full size gun get a kimber 1911. They are more pricey but you can't beat there quality.

My friend has a xd9 as well, We have shot it many times at the range. For the price it is a very good gun, never jammed or misfired once with crappy loads. I would compare it to a Glock 21 (i think that's the 9mm carry piece) at the used price. A good dependable carry gun.
