Dose any one have the measurements to make the custom engine mounts for a LS1 swap in a 88? or can any one make some i can buy or have photos ect. I need anything that will help me pre-make the mounts without trial and error. also dose any one have photos of a finished swap or install? let me know
on an 88 MKIII N/A Auto how thick and strong is the metal of the Bulk Head/ Fire wall to the left of the brake pedal? I need to mount a costume pedal and i need to know is that section of the Bulk Head/ fire wall is sturdy enough
ok good as far as that, so all and ass i shouldnt have any probs with the drive shaft and rear end. and yes the 4l60 is an auto, thats y i said my drifting style is unique i drift an auto. im working on a hydraulic e brake pedal system and the 4l60 will have a stage 2 shift kit with a ratchet...
ok just checking cuz the engine will make around 400hp and 350-375 labs of torque more than enough for my unique type of drifting anyways that covers the rear end what about the drive shaft?
Ok i am going to have an ls swap in the near future for my 88 mkiii. Now im planing on using a 4L60E for the trans with the LS1. this means a slightly shorter drive shaft. my first question is, is there room to remove the Driveshaft Support Bearings and all that connects them to have a one piece...
ya my room mate backed into my car and i need to find the side. dose any one know where i can get it in good condition? shes paying for the body work but i have a feeling the body shop wont be able to find it.
ok i was just wanting to know if the after market hand brake would fit under the console. my interior is still pretty nice and i wana keep it stock looking with all the new stuff hidden or flush

hey ya i just moved to corpus christy and to say the least the bumpy roads here aren't to kind to the Suspension set up that was on the car when i bought it. the prob is all the roads are built on sand and it shifts making it very bumpy, and ll the drive ways are really steep for water drain...
Well I'm bout to just swap the engine, I just had to use the crap to get it home, befor I even used it I looked it up very thuraly and know a few ppl who have used it on other cars and it help fine. One of them have 10,000 miles on it. I just need to know if any ones used it on a 7m and it hold...
