They had the best flange that I found for transition from head to runner where it gets welded on.

Yep me too. I will be getting the head back from port, coat, built bla bla bla soon here. I just got a huge box full of OEM gaskets, pumps, seals, timing, ect from Toyota and have everything to make it a long block now so just waiting for the head.
