Ah yes with a lexas AFM. I seem to always forget some details. Ill be sure to check codes when i get off work. IF it is fuel cut how may i work around this? Seems like that shouldnt be the issue but ive felt fuel cut in my old turbo 2 and it feels nearly the same. Ah well ill do some work and...
My poor poopra is having some issues. I just rebuilt the top end recently with stage 2 cams, springs, valves, valve guides etc, it has a 60 trim ct26 with supporting mods such as 550cc injectors, walbro and im tuning it with a afc neo. Currently the boost controller is set at 15psi. I've put...
Yeah i previously thought i had no spark but obviously i do, thanks for clearing that up. I just checked the timing again and i got the 'off by 180 degrees' I set the crank at 0 degrees and my cam gears were 180 degrees off. Is this from the CPS being off by a tooth? A little confused on this...
UPDATE! You guys are callin' it left and right. Re did my timing and i finally got her fired up. It's been so long since i've heard her idle haha So im in the process of getting my CPS perfectly lined up to 10 degrees. It's really close but it might be a tooth off so im going to reposition...
Hmm interesting. I cleaned all the grounds and the two terminals coming off the positive feed and still nothing. Just a light pop sound and then it continues to crank over. They're new NGK wires/plugs with less than 3k so I dont think its the wires. Did the little 'wire-wiggle' trick and...
Im getting everything BUT spark. Hooked up thee ol' timing light and it won't flash due to no spark on the 6th cylinder/spark plug position. I didn't have any problems till recently and whenever i crank it over it makes a pop and then the whole garage smells weird. Cleaned the grounds, checked...
I noticed that there hasnt been a respond here. I'm in the same boat as you as far as wanting to learn as much as i can about the afc's. The decel air i'm not sure about either and i havent even messed with it. Have you started tuning your afc at all? It seems so weird to have the throttle...
Cars beautiful man i love the stance!
I snapped some during fd hope you don't mind:)
Ever since you mounted those hot wheels a couple months back i've been a subscriber to your supbra

Pretty sure you can search either one of them and get information about them... BUT I've had the spec 3 with the lightened flywheel for about 3k with a 60 trim ct26 and it still grabs like no other. Either one you should be happy with.
:drink1:Car with the battles looks so clean. You'd be amazed on how much better it would look if it was lowered a couple inches. I'm starting to see more and more supras with lower offset wheels.
Haha slow your roll there. I've been using D2's for the last 3 years and i've had no problems what so ever. If they're not maxed out then the ride is moneey. You can make them as comfortable as stock suspension and still be able to take corners twice as fast.
Hey im kind of in the same boat as you are. I've been thinking about selling mine to go maft pro as well. I have just about the same mods as you, 60 trim with supporting mods.
Is it possible to run speed density with the afc neo? If i could do that then thats a win win.
Back to oil pressure!
I've read that these turbos work best around 55psi? Is this ballpark for all hx and hy 35-40 series turbos?
Would I be safe running oil return at -4 AN feed and a -10 AN drain?
I want to save the bearings and not blow any seals I figured this would be the place to...
Are you running steering rack spacers of any sort?
I just hate the small amount of angle we get for such a fat car. Your blog is pretty steezy as well I like what you've done with the car just keep it clean!
Indeed. So what's the cause of this? Valve guide seals? I wish I knew more about this so I could answer my own questions but I want to make sure I know what the problem is. Where should I hunt the problem?
I appreciate the help guys
So I recently tore down my 7m and I noticed a good amount of build up on the bottom of my valves.
Is this a result of worn out valve guides?

I just want to be sure before I start doing anything else to the head/motor. The build up is pretty bad on some...
