My project, last October before Winter storage.

Spent 2 hrs removing and messing with this (steering column surround) thing. What I learned....there are tapped holes in the steering column that do not line up with this surround. For the inside (top and bottom) pieces, it should take 5 screws. 2 of them are machine screws. 1 goes to the left...

Look where the key goes, and to the right. There is a good 1/2" gap there to the right. That doesn't move when adjusting the steering wheel.

hmmm, mine is a M/T. I don't know if the ones I bought were A/T or not, but they were all black. I guess I will continue to search and try to find one I know is from a M/T. What a PITA. Weird that the M/T vs A/T should matter since both have console shifters and not column, though.

Changed the left front caliper which froze. Wish I had ordered both fronts, as the bleeder twisted off on the right side. Lesson learned...right side caliper ordered.

I know this sounds pretty goofy, but I had the same problem, and found that the nozzle-holes on the bottom of the overflow cap were plugged with debri's and the coolant was pushing out.

Cosmetic only....decided to tint the windows today with the help of my 17 yr old. I hate tinting but it does make the car look so much better IMO. It's not perfect, but didn't turn out too bad. (yeah, I know, I should have cut the grass lol)
