Yeah, the one thing that makes me think I won't stay with Verizon long-term is their stupid proprietary software. Can't put opera mini on my phone like I could with my Sprint phone. Opera mini is so configurable and well written; I've opened Supramania and tons of other sites from my GF's...
I love my enV. It's not the slimmest phone, but I can still forget it's there when it's in the belt clip. I'm a big guy though, so to me smaller isn't always better.
I've got the extended battery, and if I don't use bluetooth too often, I can get 6-7 days out of the battery. I get this...
What're these rumors I'm hearing that the PS3 can't do force feedback, i.e. for a realistic steering wheel for Gran Turismo?
If that's true it totally kills the PS3 for me...that was the one game that I wanted to play on it.
Read this--should help: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Lost_bookmarks
Also, I don't know how you feel about Firefox extensions, but Foxmarks has saved me many times. Once you do find your Firefox extensions I recommend using this to keep them synchronized and safe in case something like this happens.
A VR-4 would be faster, but would also be inherently more complex with it's all wheel drive and twin turbo design...therefore it seems like a VR-4 could be just as bad--if not worse--reliability-wise than a 7MGTE MKIII.
You could always fight fire with fire...find an old Fox-body Mustang...
Here's your list...This lists the 1999 GT as a 5.5 0-60 time (1999 was the first year of the body style you're thinking of for the Mustang). Just find something that's faster than 5.5 seconds here and you're good to go! :-)
I've got a 10/1 cable package through BrightHouse/RoadRunner down here in Tampa, and I liked it a lot more before I moved to where I am now. I used to see some really awesome speeds, but around here the network is just oversaturated with cable modem users:
I can't wait to move closer to...
Thx man. I'm really glad she's ok. When we were in the wrecking yard, the proprietor was talking with the flatbed driver about the fatalities they had during the holidays...something like 6 on Christmas, and at least that many on new year's eve--just in their towing area. I saw one of the...
My fiance was involved in an accident on NYE on her way to meet me at the video store. We were going to stay in so we wouldn't have to deal with the crazy drivers on the roads. So much for that idea. What really burned me up was I was waiting in the video store for 45 minutes for her to get...
*drools*
Get some good pics. That car is super hot! I can see why you'd be having second thoughts about putting a spoiler on that; it just looks so clean. How's the paint up close? Is the clear in good condition? In any case, it sure is photogenic...
BTW that lip + the turn sig covers +...
Cooling config on the cpu is stock. *ducks*
Heh, I've treated this computer like far too many people treat their Supras: Overclocked with an inadequate cooling system... :nono:
That Freezer 64 looks pretty slick, with heat pipes and that very unique fan design...I'm not too worried...
Awesome info guys, thanks!
I pulled the 256MB PC2100 DIMM out and am running the 512MB PC2700. My bus speed is 166MHz and my FSB:Ram speed ratio is at 1:1, which isn't really exciting. It almost booted at 200MHz; not sure if it's the RAM that can't do it or the CPU. This processor is a Rev...
I've been running the most janky memory configuration for about 6 months now and I've had enough. 1 x 512mb PC2700 and 1 x 256 PC2100 DDR'd. The memory sticks are about the same age but aren't playing together nicely. I had to loosen the memory timings for the system to be stable - SPD timing...
I'm sure it's better than the HKS SMF. I ran the SMF for a few years, replacing the filter every 10k miles, and when I removed it to replace it with an AEM DryFlow there were sand particles on the inside of the AFM!
The SMF was undoubtedly designed to offer high performance at all costs...I...
My most memorable moment was passing by a Highway Patrolman hiding off the highway along I75 somewhere in S. Georgia. It was about 10 PM and the road was wide open. I was going at least 125--I was just pulling back on from getting some gas, had hit 120 on the onramp and hadn't let off yet...
Get the car rolling just a bit, if putting it in first gear doesn't let you into reverse. My 1st and R are both kinda hard to get into when it's cold, but 1st is easier, and even just a little roll is enough to let me in 99% of the time.
Anyways, as far as reactions, this one's my favorite...
I'm pretty bad about getting my girl gifts, and she's always so good at getting me anything and everything. I figured I'd surprise her with a little something...she definitely deserves it:
I got the Rock Ishino (I think I remember the Ishino part of the name) gasket set and it had a little card in it stating that "This is an OEM gasket set. Rock is an OEM supplier for many asian brands" in badly broken engrish. Made me feel extra confident about my purchase...
I used a Toyota...
