I sold my MK-III last year and the kid totalled it a couple months later. I was going to buy it back if he ever decided to sell it but I ran across an 88 Targa top with a recenty installed low mileage 7MGTE. Piced it up for a nice price. Body is excellent, paint is rough, suspension is shot...
Ah screw it. i found a 88 Supra Turbo locally that just had a new motor installed. Im picking it up tomorrow and I'll just hook the emanage to it and megasquirt the E30
Hey guys, some of you may remember me with the NA MK-III with every bolt on imaginable. I have been into E30 BMW's for about a year now and built an 84 325E, K26, 524TD manifold and some other unimportant stuff. anyway, I have a profec E-01 and an emanage blue. I need the settings for the...
I had a post up about going higher but did a ton of research on th eweb over the past couple of days. You can run at 16' al day but it is highly unlikely that you will make any more power than at 14'. The only way to know for sure is to dyno tune but all the evidence I have read stated that the...
Just recently my 88 NA developed a problem. When I start it up in the morning a puff of white smoke comes out of the exhaust. This does not happen every day but it will 50% of the time. Also if its parked for a few hours it will happen but not often. It never smokes while driving even if I...
I have heard that people run 100 shots wet on the 7M-GE but I have only run a 65 shot with a Zex Dry kit. Super easy to hook up , operates only at WOT and makes the supra run like a bat out of hell. Oh yeah, i have a Zex dry kit for sale $250.00
Anyone running 18' btdc on 93 octane? I understand the recommended advance is 14-16 but I also know there are a lot of regions that do not supply 93 (including a majority of california where a lot of this information comes from)
31 says bad AFM or open circuit. Doesnt matter, I had the guy pick the car up last night, I spent way too much time on it in my garage. I have bigger fish to fry with my own cars.
Checked both sides of the connection with an ohm meter and came up within spec. The only thing I know that is not hooked up for sure is the rear knock sensor. Could this cause a code 31?
The reason I want to do this is simply for troubleshooting, the car is nowhere near street ready but I am getting a code 31 and a code 52. I replaced the AFM but the code came right back so i am thinking that the KS part of the afm is in open circuit since the rear knock sensor is broken. I have...
I thought my timing light was dead but it works fine on my NA supra. Can't get a signal out of it. Cylinder #1 is firing but just cant pick it up. Changed plugs and wires too.
I used to run Bosch Platinums in my Supra. Never had a problem. Recently changed to cheap copper NGK. Copper Plugs run much hotter so there is less likelyhood of failure due to the higher heat burning off carbon deposits. I also run N2O every now and then and copper are the only plugs...
My brake light indicator came on recently so I checked them and the only brake light that comes on is the cyclops. Are there different switches that go to the brake lights? Anyone else have this problem? I checked fuses, grounds and bulbs.
Hope this helps, When I needed to do an Exhaust repair I had to use a 2-1/4" sleeve to connect the pipes together. So 2-1/4" OD is the size. Cant help with the cat
