Good Idea/Bad Idea: Trade in Mazdaspeed3 for MK3?

I'm feeling the itch again, moreso because there is a nice 1989 at a dealership about an hour away. I'll outline my car and this car and simply want to know: Would you do it? My car: 2007 Mazdaspeed 3, bright red, Bilstein shocks/COBB springs done last fall, pads/rotors/fluid done in Jan, in...

Sorry to disappoint my friend. It's not done because I don't have the time to work on it with my schedule. I need to build a vac form unit to make the rear shell to move forward. I have the guys ready from before just need the cluster made again. Version 3 now I think haha.

What CF Parts Are in Demand Nowadays if Any?

Oooh yeah, I forgot about that gorgeous piece of hardware. I used to lust after that cf cowl myself back in the day. I wouldn't mind making only a few of them, I would just need a mint/close to mint cowl to copy at the time as you can't make a good mold from a shitty rusty part :P. eric

What CF Parts Are in Demand Nowadays if Any?

Hey Guys, Long time no chat. I've got this crazy idea of starting a carbon part company on the side, small at first, but wanted to know if there are any components people seem to gravitate to and want in cf? I was going to make for myself a roof, hatch, maybe hood, fenders for fun, and not...

    Stretch's Digidash thread

Ha, Ha, yes it's a long ass time. I've been very distracted with adult working life now that I have my B.A and have to work all day. My commute is 2-3hrs total each day. Anyway, I still have all of the bits, and just need the time and a place to work on it. Not having a supra right now also...

    Stretch's Digidash thread

There's no difference for auto vs. manual as the cluster comes with the auto lights built in to the main display board. If you are running a manual, you will have to cover the auto lights with some black tape or something. I had noticed one of my dashes came this way, and I'm not sure if factory...

So you are looking at buying a rhd cluster? I noticed you have a 7m, so try and get a cluster from a 7m car rather than a jza70. The ma70 cluster will come with an oil temp gauge where as the other will not. I have both and there should be pics in this thread. eric

    Stretch's Digidash thread

Heyy!!! I didn't think anyone cared much about this thread anymore aside from it being a reference for others attempting the swap. I actually still have all of the pieces, I just don't have a car to put them in! I also no longer have access to the vacuum table from my old college since I...

Not sure if anyone said it, but I think the 2-tones are rare. Dark/light blue and Dark/light brown. Personally, I love them both :) eric

(not your average) '85 Build thread.

I loved your first post. It was a rare, complete cycle showing the beginning, climax, and end with that junkyard-esque pic of the supra at the end missing panels etc. Brilliant!::popcorn:: eric

What "weight" is listed on your title?

Trololo, lets all relax and grab a drink :). Back to the original question: I'm a Canadian, and on my ownerships I can't see any listings of weight. I guess we don't care as much here :) eric

What "weight" is listed on your title?

It's just what we use up here in Canada; the metric system, but you've probably never heard of it. eric

Once I get this V3.0 up and done like the final pic there, I see no reason why I couldn't sling a few more out ;). It would all depend on availability of rhd clusters. And yes, it has been awhile hasn't it. 7 years now I believe hahaa. eric
