Hope this is in the right section :). Anyone got a pic of the wire order and color for the pre-89 yellow b1 plug? Looking for something like this...
Thanks in advance!
Hmm still would like to hear some sound clips also. Either way Im going to pick this exhaust up when I'm done my longblock. Either this month or in June but I will get it also. Have other priorities for the supra haha
Yea just looked it up through cxracing and it looks the same. I'm liking this exhaust alot looks like it fits nicley.
It is definitley making me think of tossing my chinamans and getting one of these.
Definitley in for some sound clips though.
Yea just called the machinest he's gonna hot tank for me, gotta drop it off on monday better be safe than sorry with this thing. The bearing was so bad i had to toss the rods and the crank... don't ever want to build this again lol
Does it offend you that i asked? Im asking if there is something better to use other than brake cleaner. Maybe my title should be worded differently to "What to use to clean the oil pan". With this comment you made im assuming brake cleaner is good enough. Thanks for your time.
---------- Post...
I'm currently in the middle of a build and was just wondering what you guys used/did to clean inside your oil pans. My engine suffered a rod bearing failure.. so right now my block and head are at the machine shop getting some work done, my engine bay is painted and is all back together.
So...
Yea the shaft had a lot of play in it. It seemed like it rubbed the housing a little bit. But the actual fins showed no damage. Just alot of sided to side and back to front play. But either way, i replaced the turbo and the car ran great afterwords. Is this something thats happening to your car?
fore the exhaust manifold gasket it Depends on which kit they send. I've seen a kit with a good quality exhaust mani gasket just like toyotas but the other set was a reg paper gasket. It's either a hit or miss on that one gasket lol.
A guy i met at a car show told me that the whining noise could possibly come from the bearings in the turbo. So i just replaced the turbo with a newer low mileage one.. So pretty much my turbo was trash hah. But months later got Rodknock :(
