Sup everyone, I recently installed a catch can and now the car is bogging at 3200 RPM. I use the PCV port and the exhaust cam cover port for the catch can. I installed a breather on the iacv, car is a T70 at 20 psi with afc neo. Never did it before the catch can install.
I got a question, I just had my car dynoed on a AFC NEO but forgot to set the TPS setting on the NEO. I just noticed full throttle is 75% on the NEO ( recently installed a TPS sensor calibrated),my question is if I set the TPS setting on the NEO now do I have to retune the car again ?
I have a auto 1jz converted to manual but still running the auto ECU. I dyno tuned the car about a 2 months ago, but I recently been getting a Lean to rich spot around 5800-6000 rpm. Now my tuner said it's the Auto Ecu shift limiter ,on the Data logger you can see the injector duty cycle go lean...
I was wondering about what would be the best fuel pressure to run for single turbo upgrade. Some people " oh just run at 40- 42 psi and call it a day". But then there's " run it 50-60 psi to increase atomization for when the injectors open, better ignition response" . I'd like to hear your...
Finally got it wired up but I need to know, do I need the greddy map/boost sensor? I have a 1jz on single and I'm planning to boost 20 psi, can I just use the factory map sensor?
Sup guys, I have a strange problem with fuel pressure. I have a Aeromotive FPR set at 40psi and lately after long drives I pop the hood and the needle would rapidly jump between 39-40 psi sometimes 38. All fuel part upgrades are less then 3 months old, I just started getting this car ready for...
The car builds boost rather quick to 11 psi than slowly makes it's way to 15psi (15 psi spring in wastegate). I'm running a T70 turbo with a welded internal flap( turbine 63 AR.), a "new" New Gen wastegate, not leaking ( checked both chambers), turbo reference is from the turbo coupler (via a...
Hi, I'm looking for a fast spool up time and trying to keep power from 400-450. I have 2 turbos I want to choose from, a gt35 turbo w/ 70.ar compressor and 68.ar exducer, or a T04B Compressor trim: .60ar / Exhaust Trim: .69ar. I'm not trying to break records on horsepower but I am trying to get...
I just bought an Aeromotive fuel reg (AN-06 O-Ring Boss ORB port type) and I'd like to know If I have to buy the actual fitting made by Aeromotive or can I go to a Homedepot and use thier fittings and put some liquid teflon? I'm planning using hose barb flares to connect to the standard fuel...
I have 1JZ on a sinlge and I just bought this SARD fuel regulator and I went to install it and leaks by sending line to the unit. I tired both type os teflon and still leaks, now I am running a Walbro 400lph pump but I just don't get it why it leaks, I don't think it's leaking from the hose it's...
Hi, I just started getting my car together this year and I'm having a little boost spike 11-14 psi. The wastegate is new Turbonetics New Gen, it opens fine and holds 11 psi ( like it supposed to) until 4500 rpm then it creeps. The reference for the wastegate now is from intake manifold & t's off...
I have a 1JZ on a single gt35-r on a stock ecu , I bought the car like this. Im not certain on the injectors they're greenish gray(not the stock yellow 330cc) and it has a turbonetics wastegate, Im not sure what fuel pump its running either but the car boost 11lbs and spikes to 16lbs when it...
I have a 1jz Supra on a single, with a Turbonetics wastegate. The car has not boost controller and boost levels go to 18 psi (half throttle)then fuel cut kicks in. My question is; how do I lower the boost? do I have to get a low PSI spring from turbonetics ? In the picture of the Wastegate you...
