Sup guys, I have a strange problem with fuel pressure. I have a Aeromotive FPR set at 40psi and lately after long drives I pop the hood and the needle would rapidly jump between 39-40 psi sometimes 38. All fuel part upgrades are less then 3 months old, I just started getting this car ready for the e-manage ultimate, still running stock ECU, but now I have run into this problem. I think it might be the stock fuel damper, I listed all fuel mods below

1jzgte swap on a Holeset HX35 turbo (5 psi)
440cc JDM injectors
Walbro 400lph
New fuel filter
Aeromotive FPR (I took out the stock one)
Stock fuel damper
Fuel pump resistor eliminator upgrade

sounds like a vacuum leak causing the FP to change. does it do it with the vacuum line off?

put a screw driver on the pulse dampener. see if it sounds like someone swishing fluid in their mouth.

Hmm, what have you done to the fuel system?

That's odd, we have the SAME fuel setup basically but mine's on a 7m using 550cc injectors. How dirty was your previous fuel pumps filter sock? Did you check inside the tank for trash?

I'm getting the DM dampener bypass, but that's my next move taking the tank down and inspecting lines. Fuel pump filter was dirty, I didn't notice debris but Im gonna have to double check, Only when warm it does this.

Installed DM dampener bypass and does this. I checked with friend of mine and he said it's normal. The niddle twitches are in rythym with fuel pulses when I grab the fuel line. Just need to know for sure this is normal before I tune. I recently installed an oil filled fuel gauge and the twitching is much less.
