I think I saw a dyno sheet for one and the torque was just about dead flat from 1k to redline.

    M3 E36 opinions

The car buying bug is up by bu!! again :evil2: Has anyone got any seat-time in a 95-99 BMW M3? (AKA the E36). I've been oggling over the pictures I can find but, since I live in Podunk WI, I have no place near by to see/smell/touch/fondle one. How do they feel compared to a MKIII? The...

    NO HEAT!

It prevents hot water from flowing into the heater core when you are trying to use AC. Think of it as an AC booster.

    7m-gte from Jasper engines.

Toyota does not sell a long block any more. The head is sold in 100 little plastic baggies and you have to assemble it yourself. Total cost is around $6,500 for a long block equivalent.

    7m-gte from Jasper engines.

I love the part where they brag about their cam lobe regrinds. Then the next scene shows some guy freehand buffing the cam bearing surfaces... Who needs round? We just want shiny! lol I'm going the $2,500 new Toyota short block and reman head route this summer. Or maybe my old...

I always thought fuel cut was the result of running off the map. Basically, the computer says "I don't know what to do based on these input values".

What the hell is this crazy thing!?

Pulling the EGR VSV on a cali car will cause a code because the temp sensor is not hot enough. It expexts to see a hot temp when it is telling the VSV to be open. If you want to pull the EGR VSV then unplug the EGR temp and drop a resistor in on the harness side. I do not remember what size...

    What causes backfire?

The fix is to go with a maft in blow-through mode or a maft-pro in blow-through or speed-density mode. Then your ECU will stop seeing air that isn't there. Or just shift differently so it doesn't pop ;)

Ok i need big help fast!!!

Does the PS drive off the same belt as the water pump? that would explain the loss of PS followed by a temp spike. Smoking tailpipe is harder to say for sure. Wet plugs are never good to see =(

    What Do YOU use?

I use the automatic rotating plastic tire brush at the local drive-through wash :)

    What's this connector?

That sounds more like the EGR temp sensor connector which is unused on cars outside of California. On CA cars it would either be connected to the EGR temp or have a resistor jumpered across it.

    Another shame...

That was my thought as well. It will probably pull right off. :biglaugh: 89MkIII, the trick is to swallow again before you get a changce to taste it.
