I've just compared 2 manifolds I found a long time ago:
Quicksilver (900$)
OBX (150$)
And gess what? Yes, the one from OBX is far better.
Why?
The stainless steel Quicksilver uses for their manifolds is rubbish. It's not the one to choose if you have high temperatures and gases, which contain...
Has no one an idea?
I've found a dealer for a quicksilver manifold, is here anyone using it or knowing somebody who used it? Track, drift, strip, all experiences are welcome!
Hi guys, I'm searching for a good quality 1JZ single turbo twin scroll manifold.
I want to use it on the track (time attack, not drag strip ;) ), so please don't tell me that the ebay junk is okay. :: angry ::
Specifications:
1JZ non VVTi
T4 twin scroll
1 or 2 external wastegate flanges...
They really are. And I thought after I bought them: Mmmh, maybe 380mm would be a bit better..
But 365mm is absolutly fantastic, no problems with fitting 18" rims over them.
Today I picked up my new injectors: 1200cc Precisions. Thanks to 87supraguy for the FANTASTIC contact, never bought...
Allright, another update:
I received my new steering wheel last weekend,
ant this weekend my new front brake setup arrived:
Brembo 6 pot callipers with 365mm Brembo discs and EBC pads + a set of spare Miramex pads :)
All parts from the wipers are gone.
It took a long time to find out what sense this sheets is..
It looks like it should stop the heat to come through the gearbox tunnel into the rear legroom.
Driver's side.
Passenger side.
The lot.
All the junk. When I got all of it...
Alright, another update from me.
My new AEM ECU:
Also my new driver seat: A full carbon Recaro circuit, one of the first ever made! Much lighter as the new version.
At the end of the month, a friend of mine will bring me this lovely breaksetup.
Porsche Cayenne Brembo 6 pot callipers, 360mm...
@nathaninwa:
Thanks for the help mate,
I was extremly tired when I postet the re asking. It seems that I overred your first post, sorry. The last informations are pretty good, they helped me a lot!
Yeah I know they sell the AEM ECU, but I need to know if THIS ECU is suitable to the 1JZ. Wiring is no problem, as I have to wire a new loom.
I also started a thread in the AEM forum, lets see where I get some useful informations first ;)

Just a small update, work is extremly hard right now before christmas:
