pull sensor off intake housing and submerge in 200 degree water. if gauge doesn't move sensor is faulty. the temp gauge usually doesn't go out. However, if you run a jumper wire on the harness it should make the gauge flicker(just to double check gauge). your looking at a $20 part.

Do me a favor, lift car- look at your oil filter - move your eyes three inches towards front of car. it should be brown/gold color. 2nd favor, remove twin tube portion of intake. check wiring harness for any loose wires. specifically a wire with a loop. its a ground wire that needs to be...

its all good man. for that connector - look under your distributor, on the engine block. there should be a small round canister. it clips onto that.

looks like the oil pressure sending unit clip. it goes underneath thermostat housing, to the left on the block.

i run a single 16in electric, but then I have an aluminum radiator. never gets over 180 under full boost on a hot day.
