pull sensor off intake housing and submerge in 200 degree water. if gauge doesn't move sensor is faulty. the temp gauge usually doesn't go out. However, if you run a jumper wire on the harness it should make the gauge flicker(just to double check gauge). your looking at a $20 part.

its all good man. for that connector - look under your distributor, on the engine block. there should be a small round canister. it clips onto that.

looks like the oil pressure sending unit clip. it goes underneath thermostat housing, to the left on the block.

sorry, I plan on rebuilding a ct-26 to a 50 trim on one and 57 for another. would those be the proper p/n's for the ct-26's shaft?

i paid 250 for head surfacing and stainless o-ring installed. just to have a surfacing job for 250 on the head is eye gouging.
