For a reason I am unsure of, my car has very low oil pressure once the engine is warm. After a cold start the pressure is normal, but once it warms up, it drops down to the lowest notch on the oil pressure gauge and just rises a little bit once I reach the 3k rpm mark.
What would be causing...
What exactly do you mean by retarding the timing? I am getting a code 52 because the little cord was pulled out of the knock sensor plug. The engine is running a little rough, is it partly due to the knock sensor?
I haven't even thought about turning the heat on, considering it being June in Texas. But I will try and let you know. And yes, it does idle kind of rough. It also jerks a little when accelerating and coasting, The idle often acts like it sticks, I have it to where it idles around 1k but after...
While having my car on and it idling, I noticed a hissing that sounds like it is coming from the rear of the engine. I don't think it is normal, maybe a possible heater hose leak?

After taking off the cam gears and rear timing cover, there weren't any oil seals. Which was the reason for all the oil leaking. Its fixed and there isn't any oil leaking. However, after letting it run for a little bit and then turned it off, I then tried to turn it over again...

I may just head up to napa again then! And yes I did put a dab of rtv on the cam covers, it looks like it is behind the cam gears where the oil is leaking from.
