Check to make sure you don't have coolant down in the spark plug valley, I pinched the coolant hose that runs to the throttle body when installing a cusco anti-sway bar and it pissed coolant into the valley, which caused a miss. Not sure about the white smoke, but that's never a good sign :yikes:

Well as some of you know I ended up going 1/2 NA-T a while back and cracked a piston through the ringlands. I ended up purchasing everything for a rebuild including weisco's and having $2,000 in machine work done to my block and head. After all this I kind of lost interest. I am moving to...

Um, the cleaning and dissasembly part didn't run me $1500.00, I disassembled the engine before I brought it to him. I paid $1500.00 for Machine Work only a miniscule amount of that was for hot tanking the block, head, crank. I really doubt you could have done this machine work in your auto...

Looking good, I have been lazy and busy with school and work so I haven't even put the block on the engine stand yet. I will probably start assembling it tomorrow. Later.

Well I finally got my .25mm Oversize Main bearings from Guit-Guit on Ebay. He was a little slow sending out the other bearings but at least he did send them. Gotta put the block on the engine stand and start assembling it. Wish me luck :).

Well I recieved my Bearings today, too bad the fucker sent me Standard Main Bearings instead of .25 mm oversize bearings like I asked for. More waiting.....

Yup, 3,000 is a good number, my machine work alone was around 1,500 and that doesn't include a head job since the head only had 15k on it. Just got it milled and got the valves vacuum checked.

Yeah...is the only part you kept from the 7MGE the front timing cover and intake manifold?

Are you using 7MGE pistons with a cr of 9.2:1?

When you are trying to pull it out make sure a rod isn't in the way. LOL

Well I am still waiting on my main/rod bearings and thrust washers, but today I hung my pistons on my rods. More to come soon.
