hey just wondering if there is quick fix for the defroster because some of the grids work and some dont. Someone told me that there is a metallic spray i can use. i really dont feel like testing each grid.

my buddy bought a 05 GTI 1.8t five speed, car does have some power but feels like it doesnt have enough braking power and the seat postion is a little akward for some reason.

nope my hands were grease free cause i washed my hands before i installed the clutch assmbly and i also cleaned the bellhousing with a few cans of carb and brake cleaner. i also changed the rear main so i know for a fact its not that.ill give it some more time its just killing me not being able...
went with the advanced auto brand its perfection clutch. only reason why i did that is because summer 2006 want to do a turbo swap so i didnt want to spend a lot on it so i can put more money into the turbo swap.
i know theres no air in the system,my pedal height is like .5 higher then what the tsrm says, i did do the clutch myself and i know nothing went in backwards like the clutch disc as some people do on accident.

ive never had any experience with any of these companies but summer 06 i will be doing a turbo swap on my NA and will be buying from one of these companies.
Now i have about 700 miles on the new clutch got tired of taking it easy and i let loose today. The pickup is a lot better then before and when i downshifted into third on the highway the car just took OFF. Also im adjusted to the clutch now and actually like where it engages.
ya it goes into gear really smooth just worried about over extending the rod from the master cylinder. im reading the tsrm and it says it should be between 6.18 - 6.57 inches so from what i understand that means from the floor to where the pedal sits up at top.
