I just put my cx racing t61 turbo on and I am only getting 4lbs max out of it, when its advertised at 8. Is there any way I can increase the boost by taking the rod of the wastegate and turn it out. I was just wondering if anyone else on here had the same problem?
Thank you. I have been having trouble timing the brian crower stage 2 cams. So ive been looking for adjustable cam gears on the web and I dont want some unreliable stuff.
EVERY PICK N PULL I GO TO HAS 2 SUPRA S ONES A 7M AUTO THE OTHER A TURBO WITHOUT THE ENGINE, SO AGGRAVATING.:: angry :::3d_frown: But oh well found my bvsv valve and grabbed the wrong door handle.:nono:but going back tommorow.
How many ft-lbs does it take to tighten the head on a 7m-gte.:3d_frown:And what kind of oil should I use. The guy before me has been running way to thick of an oil I think.(20w-50):nono:
I just got an 88 turbo with 114 on the clock for a steal also my friend didnt have the time to work on it so I bought it, i just wish it wasnt blue the paint is faded but oh well! I used to live in waterford but I moved back up the hill.
yeah my mk2 has the same problem, I guess Toyota did not have good clear coat back then, Just like they had headgasket issues.

Ok did a compression test, no BHG.
