  • I am in the process of pull my 7m gte. I am going to have the head ported/polished. Replacing the head gasket, as well as all of the other engine gaskets. The goal is about 350 wheel horsepower. The shop mentioned a fel pro head gasket instead of a metal head gasket. I am going to go with a ct-26 upgrade (50 trim).

    Good move or not? What's the advantage and disadvantage of this gasket?
    Love my my MKIII turbo. In the process of improving performance. I have already done test pipe, downpipe, blitz exhaust, and blitz air filter. Suspension is a set of Tein Flex coilovers. Looking for 400 whp. Sounds like fun and still reliable. Build the 7m GTE or swap? I know there are advantages and disadvantages for each oif my three choices (7m, 1jz or 2jz). Im coming from a 96 Acura GSR. High revving and fun.

    The 7m GTE is awesome when the tail gets loose. I am looking for more power, and more torque. Never been in a 1 or 2jz car. Seen them on the tube and at the track. Would love to have the ability to road race and drag the car. Which option is best?
