won't start

i lined the crank shaft,the cam gears.and the distributor on number 1 spark plug.still won't start.could anybody help me:icon_cry:

It's cranking okay?

You may have to do it the hard way and see if you're physically getting a spark. It could be alot of things. Best thing to do, break down a checklist of what it's not, and go from there.

Spark? Fuel? Are all the injectors plugged in correctly? Codes? There are way to many possibilities here. Go through this trouble shooting guide: http://cygnusx1.net/Supra/Library/TSRM/MK3/manual.aspx?Section=EM&P=4 and get back to us.

when ever i always did my timing i always got it 180 out, so turn it 180 degrees from where you're at...just a shot...lol

I had the same prob w/my NA, after going thru the rigamarole of trouble shooting I just went 1J..

And that is because the 1JZ doesn't have those overly complicated timing belts.

What was your reason for this? Timing belt replacement, new dist., rebuild, or other?
