I just dropped off my Supra I imported from outside of Canada, so I need an inspection before I can register it. I just got back from dropping it off at Canadian Tire to have an out of province inspection done...they said it should take just over an hour-I'm going back at 3:30 my time...

I'm very nervous what problems they might find that I didn't know of while working on the car non-stop for the past 3 weeks.

Since the SupraMania site has been so good to me, I thought I could ask for your luck to send to me so it will past inspection. My birthday is Saturday, so the inspection is my present...SO IT HAS TO PASS!!!!!

The only problems I can think it would have is steering or suspension because I don't know anything about it on cars (this is the first car I've owned, I'm a truck guy) so I couldn't do anything with it.
I'm really hoping that it passes though. The guy at the counter looked like he was interested in the car, so maybe he will let me off easy...I HOPE!

Well..
I failed.

Rock chip in windsheild, bad wiper blade, needs new front and rear rotors and pads (car had sat for a long time) hatch lock is stiff to turn, and the light below the turn signal was broken, but he called it a turn signal light, so I failed that too...

Damn.

Rock chip should be about 25 dollars to fill in the mechanic said.
Wiper blade is stupid, it works fine, just a bit streaky.
hatch lock is 100% bullshit...it works fine, its just a bit hard to turn. The guy is an idiot I swear!
Turn signal lights are FINE, its the 2 lights below them, fog lights or whatever, that do not work...

RANT off.. haha

Yeah I just took the foglights out for now, it shouldn't be a problem. When I get "new" ones I will reinstall them after inspection.

Wow, sounds like that homo that inspected your car, just was lookin for reasons to fail it.
Only thing i see on it major is the rotors, but thats a 30min job, and about $30 worth of parts.

Brakes will be costing me just undeer $300. Then other cheap stuff to be ready by next week I HOPE....it's killing me to see it on jackstands and not in the driveway!!
