what transmission do I have?

I need to findo ut what type of transmission i have and was wondering if i could figure it out using the vin or something else.
Any help would be appreciated
its a 1987 toyota supra N/A Manual transmission

I need to order shifter socket and seats for them and I was ordering them through marlin cralwer and i had ordered the white ones but they seem too big and i cant getthem into the hole... did i order the wrong ones?

i dont think they make that part for a w58 just the rubber replacement. try drift motion

Call up Martin. I needed a shifter seat for my truck and the guy I talked too told me how to figure out which one...seems the W56 has a couple different variants. Once I pulled the boot and took a look, he had the right one on the way. I got the fork bushing too...using both really tightened the shifter up nicely.
